An outrageous true story

LATIN LEGEND

In the 1950s, under the eye of owner Martin Fox, Havana's Tropicana Night-Club dazzled the world with mesmerising shows, vibrant costumes, and Afro-Cuban rhythms.

It was the epicentre of Cuban music and dance, a daring hotbed of creativity where American jazz, Cuban dance music, and ancient folklore intertwined.

In 1954, Fox opened The Crystal Arches, an indoor tropical arena that won architectural prizes worldwide and transported guests into a realm of glamour and sensuality, whatever the weather. Until the Cuban Revolution of 1959, champagne flowed as Hollywood stars mingled beneath the stars. Under the sparkling Cuban sky, music and dance enticed every sense, forging a legend of Latin creativity and opulence.

Now, in 2024, this story is reimagined by the visionaries behind The Lost Estate, collaborating with a line-up of legendary Cuban artists to revive Tropicana’s golden age.
